These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sovereign Pure website (the "Site") operated by Sovereign Pure, an Indigenous majority-owned water sovereignty venture built in joint venture with Arctic Freshwater. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Purpose of the Site
The Site provides information about Sovereign Pure, our approach to Indigenous-led water sovereignty, our products and programs, and how Nations, government, funders, and partners can engage with us. Content is provided for informational purposes and does not, on its own, create a contract, offer, or program commitment.
2. Program and Partnership Engagements
Any depot, delivery, funding, or partnership arrangement is governed by a separate written agreement between Sovereign Pure (and, where applicable, Arctic Freshwater) and the participating Nation, government body, or partner. Descriptions of the model, hubs, spokes, PureFlow, or any program on this Site are indicative and may evolve as engagements are formalized.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, or any related infrastructure.
- Introduce malware, scrape at a scale that disrupts service, or misuse contact channels.
- Misrepresent your affiliation with a Nation, government, or organization when contacting us.
4. Intellectual Property
The Sovereign Pure name, logo, trademarks, artwork, copy, and Site design are the property of Sovereign Pure or its licensors and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. Indigenous artwork and cultural motifs shown on the Site are used with permission from the artists and communities involved and may not be reproduced without their consent.
You may view and share Site content for informational, non-commercial purposes with attribution. Any other use requires prior written permission.
5. Data Sovereignty
Sovereign Pure honours Indigenous data sovereignty. Operational data generated by a Nation's depot belongs to that Nation. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of a Nation's data to Sovereign Pure.
6. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party sites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices. Accessing them is at your own risk.
7. Disclaimer
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work to keep information accurate and current, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Site or its content.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sovereign Pure and Arctic Freshwater will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which Sovereign Pure maintains its head office, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights a Nation holds under its own laws or under treaty.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version takes effect when posted on this page.
